Dimor Elbers is Associate Director at Lonza, one of the world’s leading suppliers to the Pharma&Biotech and Specialty Ingredient markets. Dimor Elbers is Associate Director at Lonza and represents Lonza’s Pharma&Biotech contract manufacturing in the Benelux, Israel & Russia for Biologics.

Dimor works for the Clinical Development business unit since its establishment in 2011. The Clinical Development business unit focuses on getting new innovative therapies to the clinic,

Lonza’s focus is on improvement of production yield, manufacturability, safety, Regulatory acceptance, scalability and Cost of Goods of customer’s biopharmaceutical API’s in order to make innovative products economically viable and successful. Also in-house development & production at the customer side is offered under several licensing options.

2001 – 2008 Worked at Sigma-Aldrich for Research Biotech in the Benelux. Specialist for Molecular Biology, including the siRNA & shRNA libraries for RNA interference. Also lead the addition of Corning Life Science products and the integration of Isotec for Stable isotopes in Sigma-Aldrich Benelux.

1998-2001 Expansion of 10P’s in The Netherlands for Research & Development reagents & kits from broad variety of brands. 10P’s was a specialized distributor in life science research products and represented Invitek, Serva, Novex, Embi Tec, Q-Biogene, etc
Dimor Elbers went to the University Utrecht in The Netherlands and graduated in Molecular Genetics in 1998. Dissertation titled “Development of unusually large offspring following nuclear transfer/ cloning. The large offspring phenomenon”. Internship at Pharming B.V. for analysis of Transgenesis in transgenic cattle.
